Her First Kiss handbags are available only 4 times a year and start at $2,250 each and sold to those on her private waitlist.
Judging by the handbag collection, Liselle, who graduated from Parsons, needs not much additional design options at all. She’s one of those Minimal designers with exceptional talents, who works hard on promoting the beauty behind the design, rather than giving too many choices. As women shop, she says, looking modern, rather like everyone else, is the key.
“The biggest handbag mistake that most women make is wearing designs that everyone already knows about,” she said. “At first, it might look OK, but after a while it may get boring or predictable to wear the same brands, it looks like everyone else. The more handbags you get, the more designs you should wear. It’s not a regular rectangle designer handbag with a brand's emblem from the 1900's anymore.”
